Born and raised on an Arabica coffee plantation in Burundi, coffee has always been a passion for Hilaire. Witnessing his father’s meticulous preparation and passion for crafting the perfect cup sparked a lifelong love for the beverage. Although his first attempt at making coffee as a child wasn’t quite a success, it ignited a curiosity that led him to appreciate the art and skill involved.
Years later, after moving to the United States in 1998, Hilaire’s search for authentic Burundian coffee led him to discover a potential business opportunity. Encouraged by friends and colleagues who marveled at the coffee’s exceptional taste, he decided to turn his passion into a reality.
Our mission is to become the leading provider of exceptional coffee and tea from Burundi, captivating connoisseurs with diverse offerings, including premium coffee beans, freshly roasted coffee, and direct trade coffee (single-serve, ground coffee, whole roasted beans, green coffee beans, and espresso pods).
